Mom says it's bearably toast. The holes are just small enough not to see through. BUT it's goood! - I mean the bread not the holes. And it smells heavenly!
Recipe: 300g wheat flour 300g fine wheat flour 2,5 dl pale ale 4 tablespoon olive oil 1 egg 1 teaspoon salt 40g honey 20-30g yeast
Mix the ale, the yeast and the honey together. Mix everything else together and add the ale mix. Knead dough well. Let it rest for 2 hours.
Now don't knead it. Shape it as you please. Let it rest a little more (1 hour). Bake in 170C for 25-30(for loaf). If you use a mould remember to oil it!
I think you can use any type you want. The original recipe said to use blond beer. I don't really know much about different types of beer...you just have to try which ones makes it taste best I usually use some Finnish brands, Lapin Kulta mostly, but I don't have a favourite. Still it has never been bad.
